FAMILY INVOLVEMENT
Family Volunteer Program
Family volunteering is a vital part of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic School program. We have designed a Family Volunteer Program, which will require each family to contribute time to bettering our school and supporting students, teachers, and staff.
Family Volunteer Program Requirements
- Each two-parent households is required to volunteer a minimum of twenty-five (25) hours each year.
- One parent household is required to volunteer a minimum of twelve and one-half (12.5) hours each year.
- Volunteer hours must be competed no later than the last week of May each year and recorded online before the last day of school in order to count toward that school year.
- Parents/guardians and extended family members (grandparents, aunts/uncles/cousins/siblings who are 16-years of age or older), may participate on behalf of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic School student.
- Up to five (5) volunteer community service hours can be transferred to the school required hours. You may use other non-profit organization hours used outside of Blessed Sacrament.
- Volunteer hours completed over the summer can be counted for the upcoming school year.
- All volunteering in direct contact with students must complete all training required by the Archdiocese of Denver.
Please contact your child’s room parent coordinator, PTSA, the Big Event, or the school office for available volunteer opportunities at Blessed Sacrament.
